All
of our 29 bedrooms are tastefully decorated in a modern style
with Irish furniture. We offer a choice of single, double or
twin rooms and triples. Each bedroom has a private bathroom,
tea and coffee making facility, remote control t.v., radio,
hair dryer and direct dial telephone.
The pub is an integral part of life in Dublin. The Danger Doyles
Pub in the River House Hotel is developing a reputation as not
only the place to unwind after a hectic day of business or sightseeing
in the city but also the place to see a surrealistic extravaganza
of sculptures and space age design. Tables are supported by
an ancient looking poitin still, while walls are papered with
archaic mathamatical, mechanical and astronomical formulae and
engineering drawings. Death masks peer from the walls (and yes,
that ones eyes did just light up!).
Open nightly, except Mondays, the Klub Zazu will be a vibrant
addition to your visit. Dance the night away under a ceiling
which is an awesome swathe of studded sheet steel pierced with
pulsating lights. The Klub Zazu incorporates a library area
with mummified books and interwoven sculpted copper ivy. |

With its cobbled streets and buildings dating back over
200 years, together with its Shops, Art galleries, Bars, Restaurants
and lively Night Life, Temple Bar has become a tourist attraction
in its own right. The River House Hotel's location right in
the centre of Dublin City makes it an ideal base when visiting
Dublin be it for business or pleasure with Dublin's premier
tourist attractions within minutes walk. While Dublin's fashionable
shopping areas are minutes away.

Good value, basic but clean rooms,friendly staff, a wonderful
breakfast included everybmorning, and what a wonderful location,
right in the heart of Temple Bar and within walking distance
of just about anywhere in Dublin. Thumbs up !!!

Myself and 6 friends were over in dublin once again for my
22nd birthday from 15th feb to 18th feb... we couldnt have asked
for a better place to stay, staff were fantastic, rooms were
very nice but have to say we did spend the majority of our time
in our fave place ........ the bar !!!!!!!! top class... coming
back in the summer ...... cant wait !!!
